President Trump recently participated in the National Association of Black Journalists event, to which Kamala Harris was also invited but she declined. Of course, the audience and the panel were ready to confront Trump, and Trump was ready to confront them back.

A video from Wednesday, July 31st shows the moment Trump sat down and within the first few seconds of him sitting down, someone made a negative comment. He immediately replied and said, “I have done more for the black people than since Abraham Lincoln. ” This brings a focus on what he has done to the black people.

According to The Sentencing Project,

it is revealed that one of the laws signed by Trump, namely the First Step Act, increased the opportunities for rehabilitation and education for prisoners. For the fiscal year between 2022 and 2023, the BOP raised the utilization of EBP by 35%.

This was a great accomplishment of the Trump administration.

The article also mentions that about 30,000 people had their releases fast-tracked under the First Step Act, and about 90% of them did not re-offend or end up back in prison.

Trump also invested a lot of money in Black colleges.

Trump signed a bill into law that guarantees more than $250 million per year to HBCUs and other schools that enroll significant numbers of minorities.

These actions probably explain why Trump has been gaining popularity among the Black voters. He has been polling around 20% with the Black vote, a sharp rise from the 8% he got in the previous year, 2020. Contrary to the Democratic party that just promises the blacks and other minorities, Trump is delivering actual things that would make America great again.

The video shows that some Black Americans have some level of respect for Trump. He goes into Democrat-controlled cities to be himself, which other Republicans do not do. Thus, he is ready to communicate with any community due to his achievements. The Democrats have been promising the people for years and delivering very little.

It is quite encouraging to note that President Trump is still a hardworking man for all Americans, attending events knowing that he may be confronted. He was polite towards this event but became rather assertive when one of the hosts was hostile towards him. No other candidate would probably arrive at an event with the anticipation of negative language to be used. The original Trump continues to fight for the American people to this very day.
