3. Ronald Reagan—Evil Empire Speech (1983)

In his address to the National Association of Evangelicals, Reagan famously described the Soviet Union as the “evil empire.” The speech reaffirmed America’s moral clarity during the Cold War and rejected calls for appeasement.
