President Donald J. Trump continues to command near-total devotion from his most dedicated supporters. A new Fox News poll shows an extraordinary 98 percent approval rating among self-identified MAGA Republicans. This figure stands as powerful evidence of the unbreakable bond between Trump and the heart of the America First movement.

The poll was conducted by Beacon Research and Shaw & Company Research from February 28 to March 2, 2026. It surveyed 1,004 registered voters nationwide. The margin of error is plus or minus three percentage points. Interviews took place through live calls on landlines and cellphones as well as online responses.

Overall national approval for President Trump sits at 43 percent approve and 57 percent disapprove. Among all Republicans the approval climbs sharply to 87 percent. That number alone demonstrates strong party unity behind the President.

The real story lies within the Republican ranks. Self-identified MAGA Republicans deliver a stunning 98 percent approval rating with only 2 percent disapproving. Non-MAGA Republicans show 63 percent approval. The gap reveals who truly drives the movement and who remains on the sidelines.

When asked if President Trump is focused on the right issues, 95 percent of MAGA Republicans say yes. Only 57 percent of non-MAGA Republicans agree. The faithful see clearly that Trump remains laser-focused on delivering results for working Americans.

Democrats register 95 percent disapproval. Independents show 72 percent disapproval. Those numbers reflect the predictable opposition from groups that have long rejected the America First agenda.

On the economy, 30 percent of voters rate current conditions positively. That marks a slight dip from 32 percent in July 2025. The lingering effects of previous administration policies continue to weigh on families. President Trump works tirelessly to reverse that damage.

Inflation perceptions improve modestly. Twenty-two percent now say inflation is under control. That represents the highest level recorded since 2022. Trump’s energy dominance policies and smart trade approach begin to deliver relief.

Personal financial situations receive negative ratings from 57 percent of respondents. Higher negatives appear among independents at 61 percent, Black voters at 66 percent, those under 30 at 66 percent, women at 66 percent, and low-income households at 74 percent. These groups suffered most under prior economic mismanagement. Trump’s tax relief and deregulation efforts will soon lift them.

Most Americans report higher costs in key areas. Eighty-one percent note increased grocery prices with 56 percent saying the rise was substantial. Seventy-nine percent report higher utility bills. Seventy-one percent see higher healthcare costs. Sixty-five percent face rising housing expenses. Fifty-one percent report higher gas prices.

President Trump confronts these challenges directly. His trade policies shield American workers. His push for domestic energy production aims to bring prices down for families everywhere.

Only 9 percent say plenty of decent-wage jobs exist. Fifteen percent say almost none are available. Deep-state resistance has slowed progress. Trump’s infrastructure and manufacturing initiatives stand ready to unleash millions of good-paying opportunities.

The leading economic concern remains cost of living at 50 percent. Government spending follows at 18 percent. Jobs rank third at 10 percent. Income inequality sits at 9 percent. Tariffs register 8 percent. Taxes come in at 4 percent. The low concern over tariffs shows broad trust in the President’s economic instincts.

Congress faces deep disapproval. Democrats in Congress earn only 29 percent approval with 70 percent disapproval. That disapproval mark reaches a record high and has climbed six points since December.

Republican congressional approval stands at 36 percent with 64 percent disapproval. The numbers remain steady. The party continues to strengthen under President Trump’s leadership.

Republicans show greater loyalty to their leaders. Seventy-seven percent approve of GOP congressional leadership. Only 62 percent of Democrats approve of their own leaders. The contrast highlights the unity Trump has forged.

Satisfaction with the federal government remains low. Eight percent feel enthusiastic. Twenty-six percent feel satisfied. Thirty-three percent feel dissatisfied. Thirty-two percent feel angry. Enthusiasm and anger both hit record levels.

Democrats are more than five times as likely to feel angry compared with Republicans. That marks a complete reversal from 2022 when Republicans expressed the most frustration.

President Trump’s handling of border security earns 52 percent approval and 48 percent disapproval. The net positive four points reflects strong support for his border wall, deportation efforts, and enforcement priorities.

Cost of living handling receives 32 percent approval and 67 percent disapproval for a net minus 35. Republicans show only 33 percent disapproval. They understand the inherited challenges Trump faces.

The economy overall stands at minus 23 net approval. Healthcare sits at minus 23. Foreign policy at minus 20. Taxes at minus 19. Jobs at minus 13. Immigration at minus 6. These figures will improve dramatically as Trump’s full agenda takes root.

Tariff handling draws 37 percent approval and 63 percent disapproval for a net minus 26. The policy protects American industries and jobs from unfair foreign competition.

Sixty-three percent disapprove of tariffs in general. Fifty-six percent oppose them outright. Supporters emphasize job protection, fair trade enforcement, revenue generation, and deficit reduction. Those remain core priorities for the MAGA base.

The Supreme Court faces 57 percent disapproval, up seven points. Republican disapproval has doubled to 39 percent. Frustration may stem from delays in delivering long-awaited justice.

Sixty-two percent believe the Supreme Court treats President Trump fairly. That includes 76 percent of Democrats, 58 percent of independents, and 50 percent of Republicans. The finding undercuts long-standing claims of bias.

The poll methodology combines Democrat and Republican firms for balance. It stands apart from the one-sided reporting found on other networks.

The 98 percent approval among MAGA Republicans confirms President Trump’s enduring strength. His base remains rock-solid and fully committed.
